Gillin’ Like a Villain

While I am one of the founders and the present proprietor of the Free Company “Revenant Wings”, I do find myself on occasion helping out budding adventurers in founding their own FC. You would think the best course of action would be just to build up my own, but you know what I say to that?

I get it, I should, I know I just… haven’t found what I want it to be about? More on that later, I think.

Anyways. The reason for today’s entry was, as I was helping this FC get established many new members were complaining that they didn’t have an FC house yet, and were wondering if I could be so generous as the lend—read, outright give—them the necessary gil. Housing in the 5 districts is both expensive, and rarely available of course, but I assured them they’d have one in no time if they just save up.

“I barely have enough for gear!” They proclaimed. “I go broke just trying to keep myself fed.” Proclaimed another.

But, I assured them, “Just spend some time gathering crystals or even some of the more valuable but easy to gather materials near the city states, and you’ll have—”

Before I could finish? They all groaned and pantomimed excessive vomiting. “Crafting!? Gathering!? Ugh!”

Yes. 12 forefend that you go and earn some gil before begging me for some.

• Literally any crystal, or shard fetches decent coin.
• Copper, Iron, Zinc, and Silver.
• Nearly all logs.
  • Sometimes turning these logs into lumber, though not always.
